The conference will share and debate views from shipowners, operators, charterers, yachting industry representatives, traders, analysts, bankers, consultants, entrepreneurs, classification societies, regulators, port and terminal operators, the media, and other members of the maritime and yachting industry – from this region and all over the world. The summit will provide an active forum for participants to network, learn, discuss, and debate the various issues concerning the maritime and yachting industry. The 3rd Cayman Islands Shipping Summit 2015 builds on the previous very successful 1st and 2nd Cayman Islands Shipping Summits held in 2013 and 2014.
Mare Forum and OreCoal in cooperation with the Maritime Authority of Cayman Islands (MACI) are organizing the 3rd edition in which the future of trade, economy, shipping, marine investments and yachting of the American hemisphere and in particular the Caribbean region will be explored.
This conference is built in four thematic sessions which will focus on topics and issues relating to:
  • •  The Big Picture: Geopolitics, trade patterns, shipping, economy, investments International and in particular in the American hemisphere
  • •  Shipping investments, finance and the Cayman Islands needs
  • •  Yachting – looking ahead
  • •  Imperatives for the Caribbean waters
The conference will share and debate views from shipowners, operators, charterers, yachting industry representatives, traders, analysts, bankers, consultants, entrepreneurs, classification societies, regulators, port and terminal operators, the media, and other members of the maritime and yachting industry – from this region and all over the world. The summit will provide an active forum for participants to network, learn, discuss, and debate the various issues concerning the maritime industry.
High level speakers, session chairmen, conference panelists and audience will contribute to a day packed with knowledge transfer, exchange of visions, experience and stimulating discussions.
The openly approach of this type of Mare Forum conferences produces a wonderful environment for brainstorming, sharing and improving knowledge and intelligence.
