On Thursday 16 June 2016 Mare Forum will return to the beautiful island of Cyprus where politicians, executives from the maritime and energy industries, trading and brokerage companies; key investors in shipping, bankers, consultants and entrepreneurs; classification societies, financial institutions, logistics providers, regulators and the media will gather again at this prestigious conference where the exchange of views, visions and valuable information will make this forum another imperative and meaningful event.
This conference builds on the previous and very successful conferences held in Cyprus; Mare Forum Cyprus 2012 to 2015
Analysing Cyprus’s role in the region and the world, and current and future shipping markets, the conference will examine the future of the Cyprus Maritime Cluster. It will examine the Cyprus dynamics of today and by focusing on 2030 explore how Cyprus will look like in the next 10 to 20 years and beyond,  and what strategies and goals for this sector including topics relating to shipping, logistics, taxes, shipping law, ports and terminals and attendant service industries will come into play.
The 5th Mare Forum Cyprus 2016 conference will focus also on the on-going developments on the oil and gas exploration, production exploitation, investments and finance, distribution and transportation from the Eastern Mediterranean sea to Europe and the World, the effects of the low oil price and the updates on the geopolitical global, European, and regional situation. Also will be discussed the Cypriot position as a shipping and energy hub in the Mediterranean, Europe and the World
The conference will have a stimulated and free flowing ambiance, with open and informal discussions, which are the hallmark of the Mare Forum formula.
